I am actually considering looking at this years March/April park hours today and slightly planning my ADRs for next year......

I know I'm mad.....

But am I alone in my madness?

I really dont' blame you.... I'm addicted to planning atm I can't think about much else but our hol LOL Its still months off yet. I think I'd had pretty much planned our ADR's months ago!!

Glad it's not just me.......

Where are you hoping to eat next trip? We have two weeks to visit:

Narcoosees
Earl of Sandwich
California Grill
Earl of Sandwich
Victoria and Alberts
Crystal palace breakfast
Earl of Sandwich
Le Cellier
Ohana
Earl of Sandwich
Whispering Canyon (welcome meal as we loved it)

oh..and

Earl of Sandwich!!!

I'm joining you - not so bad now as I can book at the start of April, but I started planning this year's October trip on last years park hours in, er.... June 2009. That works out to 17 months ahead!!!! And I knew that then, because I had already COUNTED EXACTLY how long it was!!!! If enough people share your approach, you can no longer be considered "weird"! :rotfl2:

Certainaly not alone, planing a trip for either Oct 2012 or 2013. It will be the first time using the dinning for me and having to make ADR's in order to get the fullest out of the plan. (I'm a bit of a picky eater and I want to make sure there is something on the menu that I will eat, I know at disney there is always "safe options" but I do want to try new things).

While its seems like a stupidly long time to be planing something like ADR's in advance for to me it's one of the more "soild" things I can plan at this early stage. I can't accuratly figure out the final cost of Flights, hotel tickets ect, but It's nice to be able to put down in my note book, on the day we visit Epcot we can do Le Cellier, or if we spend the whole day/night in US and HHN then We'll have a the extra TS credit so we can do Spirit of Aloha after a day in one of the waterparks.

you're not mad! i'm already thinking of where I want go during our sept 2011 wedding trip! I won't go too detailed because we havn't even booked the flights but I have a list of places I want to go to again and some new places to try!

However, here is a word of warning don't get too excited about eating a particular menu item as by our eager plannning it may not exist by the time we get there!

Yay!! Glad to see some more members of the advance ADR club!!

I agree with you Kuraire, I think it is one of the things you can be certain of far out, s maybe that's why we get drawn into planning meals!

For our December 2010 trip we were talking about where we'd like to eat last October - so no not alone and not mad :rotfl:
To me I'd rather have more information than not enough and you can't really do much until 6-8 months out so it gives me something to plan in the meantime. I've got my spread sheet all sorted so just waiting until we know what group things are happening then we can put in our choices of where to eat. Not too bothered about the park hours as we'll have loads of time there and AP's so no restrictions. I can't wait to stay in MK until the silly hours of the morning :woohoo:

please can I join you?? - I had my adrs (with times I might add!;)) filled in on a spreadsheet in June 2008 for our next holiday.....which is in Dec 2010!! - I think I might qualify as a slightly early planner!!!:lmao:

Amy - I think you can be president of the club! :rotfl:

We have a list too, not sure how it will work out with 15 of us on a trip!

We want to go to:
ohanas (welcome meal for the wedding, one of our favourites)
le cellier or yachtsman steakhouse (not sure yet!)
sci fi diner
cape may cafe character breakfast
beaches and cream or the fountain (have heard this is better than beaches and cream?!)
grand floridian cafe

I am sure there will be more but I don't want to be sick of food before we even get on the cruise!

Our last trip was all planned out before we got there.

This time we're going with the flow:goodvibes........ The only thing booked is the Dolphin swim and that's because we have to, there's unlikely to be any spare spaces in the Easter holidays.

We're thinking of going to:-
Crystal palace
Yak and Yeti
Captain Grille
Coral Reef
Sanaa
The Wave
1900 Fare
Ohana
Raglen Road
California Grill
Whispering Cayon Cafe
Chef Mickey
Boma

I would love to go to Victoria and Albert's but i doubt it on this trip. I have also been considering Le Cellier....... but having only really had cs meals in WDW before its rather hard to choose where to go. It def looks like I shall be stopping by Earl of sandwhich, goofy's candy co and Ghiaradelli's!!

Why thank you LOL I'm trying to get a good mix as my BF does enjoy a disney buffet :rotfl: ooooooh I shall have a nose then.

I forgot Sci-Fi dine in on the list too....

You are definitely not alone - I'm well in planning mode for holiday in oct!
We've just booked the flights and added on an extra day at ssr with free dining so now we're staying 15 nights!
We're planning on eating at:
Narcosses
Yachtsman Steakhouse - for my dad's 60th
raglan road
California Grill
Liberty Tree
1900 park fare
crystal palace breakfast
boma breakfast
le cellier
chefs de France
cape may cafe
biergarten
kona cafe

can't wait to get started making the ADRs and the anticipation waiting for the park hours is killing me!

I'm going to start looking at places to eat soon...and we're not going until 2012.:scared1: I wanted to start to compile a shortlist/wishlist of places I would definitely like to eat. The way I see it, if Disney still have free ddp when we go, I will be well prepared. If they aren't offering it, at least I will be able to choose a few special meals to pay for.:)

Not at all - I always do this!! I wrote our itinerary for this Augusts trip last April!!! Gives you plenty of time to make adjustments :rotfl:

Planning is nearly as fun as actually being there!!!
