We have an 830am ADR, tell me how it works getting to the park before opening. Also will the buses be running from AKL to Epcot early enough for us to there?

The buses start running an hour before the parks open so just head on down to the Epcot busstop like normal. Once you get to Epcot, there will be a turnstile with a sign that says Early Breakfast Entry. When you get in that line there will be a CM waiting with a clipboard asking for your name, they just want to make sure you have an ADR for that early in the morning. Once you are in, just head back towards WS where there will be more CMs directing you in the direction that you have to go, there will also be ropes along the way guiding and helping you along the way. Have a great time and make sure to take pictures of the beautiful and empty park...we love it that early in the morning :goodvibes.

If buses start running a hour before then that means they will start running at 8am
That morning. Will that be enough time to get to our 830 ADR?

According to what I've read on the Transportation board, the buses start running at 6:30 every day.

Buses are running between resorts and parks by 6:30am every morning. I wish that info that they start an hour prior to park opening would go away. Anyway.....
These early morning buses do not run quite as frequently as the regular park buses do, so plan accordingly. To get to an 8:30am Akershus ADR, I would be out at the bus stop by 7:15, maybe even 7am. If you just miss a bus, you may have to wait 20+ mins for the next one. You will want to be at Epcot by 8am.
Then, once you get to Epcot, you will be able to enter via a turnstile that is manned by a CM with ADRs on a list. Your name will be checked off, and in you go. It should take you about 15 mins to walk to Norway, but at least you won't have to deal with crowds.
Hope that helps.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to say thanks for the clarification on the bus times. After reading everyone's posts, I remembered that buses started running earlier than what I had originally posted. Sorry for any confusion I had made to the OP, I had a brain fart when I was posting before :sad2:. Have a great trip anyways.

We just got back, that was one of our favorite meals, enjoy! We went at 8:10. It was nice to be done early and already in the park.

The buses start running around 7:00 AM so people can make it to parks for early morning ADRs. You shouldn't have a problem.

Thanks everyone! All the info definatly helps and puts my mind at ease for making the earlier ADR!!

I just want to add - keep in mind from the time you get to the turnstyle to check in early - to the walk from the front of the Park to Norway - it takes time! (I forgot to factor that in one year for our early adr - we took the monorail from the ticket transportation center)

We are also going to have an early Akershus one day and I have a similar question: Do the monorails also start running as early as the buses? (we're staying at CR)

We also have an early ADR 8:05 at Askerhaus one morning and an early 8:00 at Donald's Safari another morning. We are staying at FW and will be driving to both parks. Any idea how long we should plan for the trip from FW to Epcot and from FW to AK on those early mornings?

Also, I'm curious about how stroller rental might fit in all this. We will need one and will get a length of stay pass. When we arrive early like that, can we also get our stroller right then? Or do we have to go back later and get it? That would really be a pain if that is the case. Thanks!
