No, but they do have "Universal Express" access to popular rides ~ simply show up at the ride, show your room key, and enter a fast-track line-up. You get unlimited access for rides at both theme parks. Our family found this perk to be better than Disney's extra magic hours.

As stated above the perk of being able to ride spiderman 3 times in 20 minutes is priceless :thumbsup2

Oh and I forgot.... you can sleep in too

Extra Values:
Early Park Admission to Universal Studios Florida 31May09 (Sun) 2 Adults $Included

This was on my reservation for May 31-June 5. It was supposed to be for HR3, but said another major attraction would be open if HR3 was not up. Maybe a new program they are starting?

I have heard of early admission for certain vacation packages for Shrek and Jimmy Neutron at the Studios but you really don't need it. The best part of being an on-site guest is waltzing in at any hour and not really worrying about the wait. :)

Unlimited express pass is much better. You can ride the rides over and over again without waiting in much of a line. You also get to sleep in late instead of getting up early to get to the parks.

When you purchase a vacation package including hotel and theme park tickets you receive Early Park Admission* to Universal Studios® throughout 2009. The theme park will open thirty minutes early each day so guests can enjoy some of our most popular attractions before the rest of the general public!

Upon opening in the spring of 2009, you can experience the brand new Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit multi-sensory roller coaster thirty minutes prior to park opening. Until the new coaster premieres, enjoy the popular Shrek 4-D™ and Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast™ thirty minutes early. It's a great way to get a head start on all the day's excitement at Universal Studios!

Disclaimer: *Offers and benefits subject to change without notice. This exclusive offer is valid 7 days a week for travel 1/01/09 through 12/21/09. Requires theme park admission. Early Park Admission begins thirty minutes prior to Universal Studios Florida regular opening hour. If technical problems arise or the opening of the attraction is delayed another Universal Studios attraction will be open for Early Park Admission. Offer valid 7 days a week for travel through 12/21/09. Only valid at Shrek 4-D, Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast, and Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit for Universal Parks & Resorts Vacations guest who purchased a complete vacation including hotel and theme park admission

i also can tell you that there have been past times when AP holders were able to enter the park before the general public.

i took advantage of it once and i stay on site which already gives the fotl perk.

That sounds great! My only question is ~ is this only if you purchase a "vacation package" that includes on-site accommodations and tickets, or is it for any guest staying on-site? We won a ticket via the Super Bowl promo so we didn't purchase the vacation package deal, but just did a room only & bought our other park admission tickets separately. TIA!

Ok I called and got it cleared up and it is early admission 1/2 hour before general public and you do have to order a vacation package thru Universal .
So I guess that leaves me out but oh well I am there for a full week and will have plenty of time :thumbsup2

Correct. Anyone with a room key is able to gain early admission into the park, as well as express access at the attractions.

So anytime they have early admission and staying onsite you can get in early? Is there a sign or special line? Is this something we can find out before we go?

Theres a sign and a special line off to the side.

You could always call the hotel you are planning on staying at to confirm.

Hmmm - sounds like CS is saying you have to order the vacation package, but others have had different experiences. I'm hoping that the "others" are correct. Early entry would be so sweet!
