I have one early admission day to go to Universal Studios. In what order should I do Despicable Me and Transformers?

Just returned yesterday go to transformers first that wait was at times over 180 minutes

We got to EE this morning at 8:30 and walked right on TF. Just to let everyone know that Shrek, DM, RRR, and TF were all open. I would not guarantee this to be the norm though.:thumbsup2

Thanks folks for all the insight!

Another question: is there a separate line for the fire and ice coasters from Harry Potter, or is it one big line to get into the area?

It starts off as one big line, once you get near the ride itself it splits into 2 different lines

OK, just to clarify:

I'd like to ride the coasters via express pass: do I have to wait at all on the Harry Potter line or do I just waltz right in?

Steve.

Was 180 minutes during early opening?? :scared1:

No there was no early opening last week.180 minutes was around 930. Only plus to that was the rest of the rides were walk ons !

No early opening last week... Is that common? We are paying to stay onsite to have that perk...

Do they have early opening this week?

EE is thru Sept 1 I think. We did it 2 days ago.

IOA has early entry all the time..The Studios DOES NOT..It is only going on from JULY 1st- SEPT 2nd due to the opening of Transformers. They did the same thing LAST summer for Despicable ME and will likely do it again next year for the Harry Potter Expansion

The Harry Potter line I think you are referring to is the line for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. That is a different ride than the coasters and it doesn't accept the express pass.

The three coasters in the Wizarding World do accept express passes.

Each ride has a different line.

I just got back from my first day in the parks. They do not seem crowded, but with express pass I don't experience the lines.

Will do EE for HP tomorrow morning. What is tranformers like with express pass, but not early entry?
