Early 2025 Discounts Incoming?

Anyone try to change their current reservation online and have it go through? I tried and got an error.

I just booked a new reservation and cancelled the old one and it worked.

Yay AP and regular discount for early, February. Though I really like CBR, may switch to FQ and save some money. Been on hold for a long time as want a room only package and having trouble with it online.

Scratch that! Finally got the change to go through online! Only covers part of my dates since we are doing end of April - early May but I got a better room category for slightly less. Not much of a savings, but I’ll take it for now.

Was hoping for BWV or BCV but didn't see anything last half of January. So I grabbed OKW. Got a 2 bedroom villa cheaper than two rooms at a moderate so I'm feeling very happy about that!
Nevermind, we decided to scrap the whole January trip in order to book BWV for April We just had our hearts set on boardwalk so now we have what we really wanted.

Just called reservations and even though my first reservation falls into those dates, I can't get a discount because our WL category is sold out and the offer will not apply. Unless I want to change my dates. But then I would have to change flights also and the dinky little discount they are offering isn't worth it.

It might be worth going online and looking around so see what room categories that are included. People cancel all the time as they switch plans, especially with the discount this morning.

That’s why many people won’t book til a discount comes out. If all or most of any particular room categories are booked at rack rate, they have no reason to offer a discount. Booking at rack expecting to change to a discount later definitely works against you.

I was able to change my CBR reservation to BWI online--though I had to switch browsers (from Firefox to Chrome) to get the change to go through. Not a huge discount for Feb 4-9, though for Tue-Thurs it is. But overall, it was enough to make the upgrade feasible. And, I avoid CBR during the cheerleading event (where CBR is one of the resorts for teams)!

I understand their thinking, just not happy about. If I hadn't booked in advance I wouldn't have been able to get the category at all at that resort. We had to book multiple rooms and also doing a split stay. So a lot going on that we needed to secure.

Sticking w/other BB reservations I had already booked. I keep seeing posts predicting low crowds for 2025 but seems like availability at some resorts already limited…

There are a lot of cheer comps, which could be why values are hard to find.

I called at 7:15 this morning . Only on hold 5 minutes. Saved $326 on our January trip. Better than nothing.

This happened to me this morning a few times too. I went on my computer using chrome and it eventually did work.
