Early 2025 Discounts Incoming?

Thanks for the heads up. Was able to switch my few days before Marathon Weekend from Movies to Pop for the same price thanks to the AP rate.

Yeah I’m not seeing it. Ends up being pretty much the same as booking discounted room rate plus tickets when I looked…
Example: March 16-22: 2 adults, 2 kids. 4-day PH.

Poly Resort View Room (which is almost never discounted): $7666.02 with room offer; $7473.20 with package deal

WL Fireworks View: $7991.82 with room offer; $7880.44 with package deal

CR Garden Wing Water View: $6704.22 with room offer; $6578.58 with package deal

CSR Preferred Room: $5265.72 with room offer; $5012.82 with package deal

POR Woods View Room: $4903.66 with room offer; $4715.82 with package deal

Pop Standard Room: $4489.84 with room offer; $4341.20 with package deal

AsMu Preferred Room: $4396.62 with room offer; $4227.94 with package deal

And this is just one week! Almost every client I checked, the package deal was better. To clarify, I did mean that I saved people over 1K with the package deal compared to the rack rate, not compared to the room discount. But the package deal was still better than the room offer in almost every case!

Nice! Yeah I was looking at POFQ which doesn’t have anything for my dates with the package offer. Other mods do, but end up being preferred rooms, which are higher priced as well.

After over an hour on hold, I gave up. All I wanted was to try and get the final night of my existing 5 night reservation at Pop changed to the AP discount (a measly $30). I tried to book the one night online, and every time I went to checkout it just showed my old reservation--I couldn't book the 1 night at all. I tried to shorten my existing reservation by that 1 night, thinking maybe it just didn't want me to have 2 concurrent reservations (which has never been a problem in the past), but the system just treats that like a whole new reservation and there is no availability. Hence the phone call. But it just isn't worth it.

I did go make an offsite reservation--heck of a lot cheaper, even factoring in a car rental.

Well I did ok I guess - Grand Floridian/Polynesian split stay - Poly will be in the tower - never stayed at Polynesian before but always wanted to - at 25% off I guess that’s a bargain for Polynesian lol.

Thanks to all who posted this deal early. Was in bed, 3:30 am CA time when I saw this, called Disney at 4am sharp, and after getting through all the greetings/ options/ inputs was connected to an agent within a minute or two.
Not a great AP savings for us on our AKL/BC split stay in late Jan, but bottom line turned out to be $500 less plus a bump up from Standard Resort View to Water View at Beach Club. Better than nothing and we're grateful to get it.
Thanks again, and hope you are all having a magical day! :goodvibes

Going mid week the 3rd week of January. Still no discount on rooms? Seems like discounts start the end of February? What about January and February?

Second bullet - there are some discounts for then too.

Waited on hold for 1.5 hours today for a measly 10% off Sun-Thursday at Pop Century for our dates . We have 3 rooms reserved with 8 people total , so was hoping for a better discount honestly. Tried to update online, but no luck . Had to call . With no "estimated" wait time , after 1.5 hours , I gave up . Was not worth the 10% for only 5 of our 8 nights . Online said no availability , so the phone call was prob. just wishful thinking anyway . Was really hoping that there would be some good discounts so we could upgrade to a moderate ..........but finally , said, forget it . Canceled , now we are going to Universal for less than half of the cost . Grand kids wanted to go to Universal more anyway . Everybody is happy and excited, and bonus - get to save a boat load of $$$ . Win-Win .
Our 15k Disney trip just turned into a 6-7 k Universal trip .
Disney has definitely priced us out for big family trips . Sad ......we have stayed at pretty much every Disney resort (look at my sig) , and the time has come . Just dont want to deal with the hassle and price of a Disney trip any more !

Agree. There’s no discount on the tickets. Only the room is discounted. Maybe there was more inventory on that package?

I have a BB booked at WL in early May, so I looked at that package compared to just buying tickets separately for my BB dates. The package is pricing at $3102. Buying tickets from the WDW site + my BB is $2998. Over $100 less.

Do they ever "release more" rooms with the discount attached?
For example I'm looking at Caribbean and without discount they have full availability for all my dates, all room types, but with discount attached...nothing.

Availability for discounts changes all the time, whether it’s because Disney released more rooms with the discount or because other people cancelled a discounted stay. No guarantee but definitely keep checking.

Thank you! I saved $100 by changing to the package. 2 people, 4 nights at POP, 2 day base ticket.

The answer is yes. :) There weren't any discount dates for our Port Orleans Riverside stay in March when I checked yesterday. But the discounts are available today. We have also found discounts released throughout the year. Just keep checking. :)

It might be worth going online and looking around so see what room categories that are included. People cancel all the time as they switch plans, especially with the discount this morning.
Wilderness Lodge had only Fireworks view yesterday. We were also looking for a cheaper view.

This just may be my first stay at Drury, the discounts just don't add up for us

I would have to change my dates to save $10 per night. I think I'm just going to hold off. I don't NEED to go in January. I'll wait for a better deal. I was considering September for MNSSHP anyway, so maybe that will be my plan. pirate:

Yep seems like most just had higher room categories. So for me it ended up being the same price as my non discounted rate, but a better room category. I’d personally rather have lower room and save $$.
