Earliest time restaurants open for dinner.

When do the restaurants open for dinner? Do you find that it is easier to get seated when they first open? Thanks!

I think most places start dinner at 5pm, but there are some others that may start as early as 4pm. I want to say Crystal Palace starts dinner at 4pm but I don't remember for certain.
