I'm in the process of planning a 3 night cruise on the Wonder for next February :bounce: We'll be staying a few nights at BWV before the cruise then flying home on the day our cruise is over. MS told me the earliest I should book a flight home from Orlando is 12:30pm. When looking at flight times, I can choose 11:30am, 12:00noon, or 4:30pm. Do we need to play it safe and book the 4:30? I haven't decided yet whether to use the Disney Cruise transportation or a town car service. Any recommendations?

Thanks!

I would go for the noon flight if it were me. Of course, the 11:30 a.m. is probably doable - but i try to book as close to noon as I can. There is no need for you to go until 4:30 p.m. to catch a flight.

I would go with the noon flight. When you arrive at the airport you could always inquire about the 11:30 flight and if there is room they should accommodate you.

Good luck.

Mary

Thanks for the replies - after looking over available flights, there is a 11:25am return flight that is direct to Rochester (believe me, there aren't many direct flights to Rochester) so would get us home in 2 1/2 hours instead of 5 or more hours. If we do Tiffany Town Car or one of the others, how early could we get back to the airport? When is the earliest we can schedule a town car to pick us up at the Disney Cruise Terminal?

Thanks for the replies - we couldn't book one flight then switch to an earlier one if we arrived earlier - they are each different airlines. After looking over available flights again, there is an 11:25am return flight that is direct to Rochester (believe me, there aren't many direct flights into Rochester from Orlando) so would get us home in 2 1/2 hours instead of 5 or more hours. If we do Tiffany Town Car or one of the others, how early could we get back to the airport? When is the earliest we can schedule a town car to pick us up at the Disney Cruise Terminal?

We had late seating for breakfast - 8:00 vs 6:45. We still were back at MCO and sitting at our gate by 9:50 AM. Our flight was at noon. We used Tiffany Towncar and were told that they would be at the port by 8:00AM even though we didn't need them until a bit later. Several of the airlines have check-in stands right at the port. We were able to check our luggage and get our boarding passes before we even left the port. Very convenient!

Hope this helps!
Jeannie

Thanks so much, Jeannie, just what I needed to know. I've been leaning toward using Tiffany. Can't wait until February!

Which airline did you fly? USAir changed my return flight time to 1015a. It's encouraging that you had late breakfast seating, and still got to the gate by 950a. It would be great to get our boarding passes at the port instead of waiting until we got to MCO.

We were on Continental, but there were several other airlines with check in stands at the port. This was a complete surprise to us - didn't find out about it until we were leaving the ship! Try calling your airline to find out if they're there.

just came back sept 1st we had early breakfast on ship and we were back at airport by 930 am if i had to choose i would take the noon flight, also they close the flight s 15 minutes before take off time.
