Earliest Miami PAT?

What is the rule about coming earlier if you want, even knowing you won't board until later?

I'm not sure how much PAT impacts terminal access anywhere other than Port Canaveral, since the other ports are not dedicated to DCL use. PAT was instituted when the new ships launched, because the volume of passengers was more than the terminal at Port Canaveral had been built to accommodate. So they needed to stagger the flow of passengers through the terminal.

I haven't sailed out of Miami, but based on other reports I've read here over the years I don't believe you'll have any trouble if you arrive early. As you already know, it won't help you to board any sooner since your boarding number is tied to your PAT. You'll just spend more time waiting in the terminal.

Enjoy your cruise!

Each Cruise line has its own terminal in Miami so you can enter the terminal and will have to wait till you group number. If I remember correctly the don't start embarcation till about 11:30ish

We have an 11:00 PTA out of Miami as well. What time do people actually start showing up to begin the check in process?

We had a 11:30 PAT. I took this picture at 11:35. The line was LONG! I don't think we made the terminal entrance until around 12:30.

We had a 11 PAT and boarded at noon last Wednesday out of Miami.
Curious about the 4 night Halloween on the High Seas. Did they have Halloween and Pirate night the same day? We leave next Wednesday. Do you remember which shows they had on your sailing?

No. We had Pirate Night the day of CC and Halloween the day of Nassau. The shows were Walt Disney The Dreams Goes On, Michael Harrison (Awesome), Twice Charmed, and Dreams.

We have an 11 PAT for Thanksgiving. Last time we sailed out of POM, we had an 11 as well. We got there early (around 9:30) we just loitered around outside. People started lining up around 10, so we got on line... and just waited. Received number 3 for boarding.

This was probably caused by those with later PATs showing up way before their scheduled time.
