Earliest I should Make a Reservation?

Word Problem: My flight lands in MCO AT 7:15pm. I'm taking DME to Beach Club. EPCOT has EMH that night and I would like to eat there for my first meal of my trip. What's the earliest (time) I should make a reservation?

***It should be noted that My family is arriving early in the morning so they will be checking in so all I'll need to do is pick up my key to the world card. Should save me some time

I wouldn't make one before 8:30. It helps that you will be able to walk to Epcot. Although I don't believe the table service restaurants stay open for EMH.

I wouldn't pick Coral Reef, you'll have to walk through the entire park to get there. If you're going for the closest of the ones you have listed to the International Gateway, that would be Chefs de France.

Last October our flight arrived around 7:15 as well. We checked in at the Boardwalk, then went over to Epcot. We arrived at 9:00 just as IllumiNations was starting. It was also an EMH night and quite a few restaurants were open and taking walk ups up to 10 PM.

I have the EMH guide for that night and of the ones you listed it shows Nine Dragons (seatings til 9:30) and chefs (seatings til 10). Other TS that are listed as open with seatings until 10 include La Hacienda, San Angel, Rose and Crown, Teppan Edo, Tokyo Dining, Tutto, Via Napoli and Bistro. Also quite a few CS places were open during EMH.

I'd say 8:45 for a reservation. On the other hand, the restaurants that were open were taking walk ups so you shouldn't have any difficulty getting dinner.

Thanks you guys for the info. I was thinking it would take about 1.5 hours-2 hours from deplaning to front gate of EPCOT. So 9oclock sounds about right to me... I was going to make an ADR but I may just wing it especially since we wouldn't even be eating till after 9.

Since you're staying at the Beach Club, you'll be entering Epcot through the International Gateway between the UK and France. From your list, I'd recommend Chefs de france or Restaurant Marrakesh, since Morocco is right after France.

I wouldn't make an ADR before 9PM. It's possible the DME bus will make other stops before the Beach Club...so what should be a 45 minute ride can easily turn into a 1 1/2 hr one if you're last on the loop.
