Earliest disembarkation time?

What is the earliest we can disembark? I am stuck with a 10:30a flight home. Can I make it?

on our trip, we were the first family off the ship and after going thru customs, and onto the bus, we arrived at the airport at 10:15.

Beware, I find that going thru security at MCO is very slow and time consuming.

From what I've gathered here as long as you schedule your own transportation service, you should be fine. We have Fl Tours picking us up at 8am. They said they routinely get people to MCO by 9:00!! We have an 11:30 flight. Good luck!

We didn't get there until 10:30.

Even taking DCL's bus (and checking our luggage at the pier) we got to the MCO before 9. We exited the ship by 8.

We didn't go to the airport but we were at the gates of Magic Kingdom by 9am!

It truly depends when the ship has cleared customs, which is NOT under DCL's control. If the ship has cleared early, you can probably disembark at 8AM and make the 10:30AM flight just fine. If there is any type of delay with customs, which also could mean the ship arriving slightly late in port, you probably will miss your flight. Personally, I wouldn't risk it and I'd try for a later flight time. If the flight is VERY late in the afternoon, rent a car for the day and hang around DTD or visit Kennedy Space Center. Our flight was changed from Noon to 10:50AM, and I fought with the airline to get the flight changed to a later time. The first time I was given was 6PM, I wasn't happy, and wanted to think about it. Luckily I didn't take the first thing offered to me, because when I called back, there was a 1:30PM flight available and I jumped all over that. I didn't want to have to rush off the ship and have to worry we'd make our flight, so it was about an hour later than I wanted, but I'll most likely make it. Also, DCL recommends if booking your own air transportation, to not make plane reservations before Noon.
