Earliest breakfast seating at CM-good or bad?

I got a 7am breakfast ADR at Chef Mickey´s for our first morning. Never been quite so early before. Is it usually good or bad to be there at restaurant opening?

We've been that early for CM breakfast, and it was great. Food was fresh and the characters spent a good amount of time with us since it takes a while for the restaurant to fill up. Where are you coming from? Transportation that early can be a problem unless you have a car or hire a taxi. We were staying at CR at the time so it wasn't a problem for us.

I think the earliest could be a very good thing because the food will be really fresh. You're getting the first servings of the day, so you'll know it hasn't been sitting on the buffet for any extended time.

Thanks! Sounds good! We´ll be driving from Regal Palms/Davenport in our rental car so Disney transportation is no problem for us.

Great! When you get to the guard shack at CR, they will check the ADR list to confirm your meal ressie, then they'll give you a 3 hour parking pass.

If we should decide to stay longer than 3 hours, can we just pay for additional parking? I´m thinking it might be fun to take monorail ride and check out the gift shop etc. just to get a quick Disney fix, since we won´t be hitting the parks the entire first week in Orlando.

If you want to keep your car there longer than the three hours, you need to pay to valet park. Otherwise, move it to the MK/TTC parking lot after your meal.

Disney runs special buses for early character breakfasts. They usually start at around 6:30. If there's not one from POR to CR, take one to MK and walk over to CR. It's only a 10-minute walk.

We had a 7:00am adr on Sept 13th, and it was great. Food was good, not overcrowed(actually, half the restaurant was empty). Characters spent a good amount of time at the table. I would definitely do it again if I had the choice.
