Has anyone eaten here on the DDP? What is included for an adult meal? What is included for a child's meal? We avoid sodas, so wondering if we can get the fruit smoothie/slushy as a drink?

I was here years back with the FD and I remember being confused. I know they say it is a great place to go, with great value. But, you go through the line very quickly so you really need to know what you're doing, and I did not.
So, I got the sandwich, and the drink and a dessert. Was I also supposed to grab some sort of side as I went through on the plan? Did I miss out on something? Or is that all you get here if you are on the DP? Other quickserves automatically pare up your sandwich or nuggets or whatever with fries or chips or coleslaw or something, then you still get dessert and drink.

I had a great muffin at an Earl of sandwich but that one was on the Florida Turnpike. Apparently they are up and down the road too.

:wave2: Ha! It's like you read my mind! I was just coming here to post the same Earl of Sandwich questions! I want to eat there on our arrival night using a CS credit.

Do you get the small or large soda?
Can you get ANY of the desserts or only certain ones? The menu pics I've seen don't seem to have the "ddp" logo next to anything so I'm a little confused.

It is a great value when paying OOP as the sandwiches are all $6.99. It is NOT a good value on the DDP for the same reason.

No, you did not miss out on anything. You can get chips, but then you don't get a dessert. At EoS, the entree is only the sandwich.

Not sure about eating there on the dining plan...I will say this though, after reading a lot of complaints in another thread about the portion shrinking and price increasing, I went again in June. Our order was messed up several times, and there was a gaggle of people with messed up orders crowding around the cash register...when they finally got my order right, my wife's sandwich had a bug. I took it back up for a new one, and got exactly that, no apologies, so whatever. (I wasn't the only one with a bug either).
This place has turned into a madhouse in the last year or so, and I don't think I will be heading back for awhile.

Adult meal is sandwich or salad, drink (smoothies not included but lemonade or milk is and I think you can get bottled water) and either chips or a dessert (not both).

I would pay OOP at Earl .Use the credit at WPE in DTD which is only a few steps from Earl.
They have entrees like salmon, meatloaf , several pasta dishes plus large sandwiches, salads and pizzas. All of which are 1CS credit.
We eat there 3 or 4 times a trip even with no DDP.

I agree, it's not a good value when using dining credits. If you really want to eat there, pay OOP and save your credit for a more expensive restaurant.

Not sure why no one else commented but A BUG?? What kind of bug? And what do you mean other people had the same problem? You should post that on the review or restaurants board, not just on the dining plan one. This is one I was considering for our upcoming trip since we're staying at OKW and will probably go to DTD a few times, but we love WPE so I don't mind going there a 2nd time either. Especially since it's always delicious and we've never had...unplanned protein.
