I've never eaten at EOS, but I've heard so many nice things I'd like to try it next week. On All ears manu it says the sandwiches are hot. Here, if you order a hot sandwich they will put gravy on it, like an open faced sandwich with gravy, veggies and potatoes. I'm thinking this isn't like
EOS. Could someone describe it for me? What sides does it come with? What sandwiches are your favourite?

The Full Montagu is my favorite. They used to do a Chicken Florentine sandwich that was my favorite, but that is no longer on the menu. Here is a link to the company's website menu:

There are photos of the sandwiches. No gravy or sides. Just a hot sandwich. You can get chips, some side salads, cookies, etc. They also do a nice job with salads.

To describe what "hot" means, you are correct it is NOT like an open faced sandwich with gravy.

It is more of a hot sub or grinder you would get from a pizza place. Meaning it is toasted. Or like a panini. I assume you know what I mean.

EoS is very good. Love the ham and cheese, the roast beef is good as well.

Enjoy your trip!

We went to EOS last time. I hadn't researched it and it wasn't in my "game plan" so I was a little apprehensive but we loved it.

Like you, I am not used to the whole "hot" sandwich thing. I'm not even used to it at pizza places. If I order an italian sub I expect that to be cold with oil and vinegar. Here in TN everything is served hot unless you specify. With that said, I've learned to ask for sandwiches cold down south. So if you prefer a cold sub (like up north) then just ask, they will do it.

Thank you for the link. They look huge. No wonder sides are not served with them.

They are big. And very tasty!! You won't be disappointed.

One thing to note: The line is usually really long. Don't get discouraged. They move very quickly.

You're welcome. We never get sides and I usually can't finish the sandwich. Of course, DH will always eat my leftovers!

Enjoy your trip.

If I'm on the Disney Dining Plan and eat at EOS, do I get a sandwich, side, and a drink? Or is it just a sandwich and a drink? I've seen pictures on the food pic thread and most show sandwich with chips and a drink.

The big thing going for them is.....THEY ARE NOT DISNEY OWNED!!!!

They keep changing what is allowed on the dining plan. When we were on the dining plan a few years ago, EOS allowed a sandwich or salad, a drink, and a dessert (cookie, brownie).

We went for the first time last month. We could choose from one "side" which included desserts, chips, yogurts, and salads (like pasta salad). Other items may have been considered a side but that's all I can remember. Of course, a drink was also included.

We really enjoyed this meal. It was one of our favorites of the trip.

EOS is a must for every trip!!
My fav is the holiday turkey sandwich but they only have that one seasonally!
The BLT, Hawaiian and roast beef are all good!
My fav (aside from the holiday) is the Caprice. At first I was worried it was going to be weird since it's hot, and caprice salad is cold, but it is SO yummy!!
Chinese chicken salad is really good too!
We usually get and sandwich and split a salad!!
Hope you enjoy is as much as we do! :woohoo:

My wife loved her veggie sandwich.. I like em all!!!! Good prices, and great sandwiches!

My favorite sandwich is The All American without the Cranberries and on the side I will get their Broccoli & Cheddar Soup if it's availble because it's not on their menu each day. So if it's not available my I would then order their Tomato Soup since that's available everyday.

The tomato soup is the best! I usually get the roast beef sandwich, but this trip I tried their salad. It was VERY VERY good! We were on the dining plan. 1 day we were allowed a sandwich or salad, chips, dessert, and a drink. Another day we were allowed a sandwich or salad, drink, and anything under $3 off their side menu (chips, pasta salad, side salad, or dessert). I think it was $3. Have a great trip!!
