Earl of Sandwich

I LOVE their sandwiches! It is one of our must-dos on our trips.

Thanks for the info on use of the Dining Plan CS ... I'm 7 weeks away from my FREE dining visit and plan to visit EOS at least once.

We usually pay OOP and have loved everything we've ordered.

I would also like to know what you get for your CS credit on the dining plan:

1 Drink (bottle or fountain??)
1 Sandwich
1 side ??? (chips or soup???)
1 dessert (fruit cup or brownie/cookie???)

Can anyone who has actually used a CS credit during 2008 confirm an example of what you get for that credit.

Thanks!
We were there end of May 2008 using the DDP. Can confirm we got the following for one CS: we each had the "Original" sandwich, bag of chips, soda (fountain) and a dessert. The chips were the premium type not just plain Lays. I had frosted cupcake top, DH had an over-size choc chip cookie. Sandwiches were wonderful. Desserts were better than most counter services. (nice selection of fresh cookies, brownies, and frosted cupcake-tops, like a muffin top only it's cake. Tasted like birthday cake.) We were told that the chips, soda & dessert came with the CS. Soup or fruit was not an option for a side dish. Don't know if they would have substituted fruit for the dessert, though...we wanted a sweet!

DH LOVES Earl's -
We tried it on our last trip, and now it's not to be missed.

This is a counter service on the dining plan but if it wasn't I would probably try them anyway. They seems to have yummy sandwiches and look quite reasonable.

DRAT! This is the one spot that was on my hit list for our February trip that we didn't get to. Was on the plan for our DTD day, but I got overruled and we ended up instead having a bunch of crap for lunch upstairs in Disneyquest...

But at least I can now print this thread out and wave it in front of my family while saying ""you should have listened to me!"

Luv Earl of a Sandwich!:goodvibes They have the best sandwhiches. Don't know about the dinning plan though....

The Earl is great!
And I've never been there when it's less than absolutely mobbed.
The people that work at DTD eat there, which says something about the place - it's good and comparatively inexpensive.

How late are they open? We get into MCO around 630...to hotel close to 8. I was thinking of a jaunt to DTD on the first night. Would they be open around 9 or so?

Love the Cannonball. It is wonderful. DD liked the pizza sandwich. Have eaten here twice before. Ate there a week and a half ago.
