Earl of Sandwich

So it sounds yummy and we've decided to give it a try in May. Thoughts and opinions greatly appreciated.

I got the meatball sandwich and it was really good. I normally do not order something like that, but it was calling my name. I am glad I chose that.

My friend had the jerk chicken and I had a little taste and that was good too.

I got a sandwich there called something like ensalata caprese. It's like that fresh wet mozzerela (sp?), fresh basil leaves, tomato slice, balsalmic vinegar salad only on a type of panini kind of bread if I remember right. I actually ate it 2 diff times! OK I'm drooling now just thinking about it.

Not only is this place inexpensive--But the sandwiches are wonderful, the side dishes delicious and the Earl Grey Iced Tea, Awsome. I truely wished they had these restaurants in the parks!

I love the Original - medium rare roast beef, melted cheddar and horseradish cream...YUM! DH likes the Jerk - I thought it was okay but again, I don't consider it a WDW vacation until I have my Original

Some advice I can give you: if you like other coke products than the typical ones sold in the parks (diet coke, coke, sprite, dasani) you can get them here - I am addicted to diet coke with lime and they have the bottles here - YAYYY!!!

Also - the salads are excellent! You pick the one you want and pick up the bowl of lettuce that corresponds. Hand it over to the person behind the counter and they put it together and toss with dressing right in front of you. We've had the Cobb (very good!), Chinese (also very good!) and the Antipasto (good). They are a good size, but if you're very VERY hungry you could get a sandwich and split a salad with someone.

They also have nice fresh fruit cups our DS loves...and the PB&J is the same size as the other sandwiches and is very good...also warm.

It's the bread that makes the sandwiches. So good!!

We love Earls!!!!

Ate there 3 times on our last trip. We were at OKW. On one occassion, I dropped DH and the kids off at the resort, went down and around to DTD, parked, got food to-go and meet everyone at the pool for lunch, only took 20 minutes. Outstanding!!

Everything we have ever eaten there was great.

I loved the crispy asian chicken salad, but everything was good!!

If you go there and there is a huge line..don't worry...it moves very fast. We were there on Saturday night and the place was packed....my DH counted 18 people working....no kidding!

The lines look horribly long, they aren't, wel they are but they move really fast. Don't let the huge crush of people bother you at all. It really is in and then outside to eat in the sun (or the rain for us but the eating area is covered).

I wish they'd hurry up and get those franchises going in other parts of the country. I'd love to have one close by .....
