Earl of Sandwich Question...

I've heard so many great things about Earl of Sandwich. I really have no desire, necessarily, to eat there; however, I got to thinking: If we have dining credits left over on the day we leave (we're driving home), would it be reasonable to pick up sandwiches at Earl of Sandwich to take with us for the road? Do they make cold sandwiches?? And, if so, would they hold well for a few hours? And, are there any in particular that you'd recommend?

Ahh, you do not have the desire to eat there because you have never eaten there. Every trip to Orlando or Vegas is never complete unless I have had at least one Full Montagu. Great, now my mouth is watering.

Anyway, in the past, I have stopped in for a sandwich on my way to the airport. I will usually order a 2nd to take with me on the plane. It is usually a few hours later and the sandwich is still just as tasty. They were hot sandwiches, but they held up great until I devoured them in the plane.

Yes that is what many people do, with the sandwiches.

Great way to burn some counter service, and even table service credits.

I have to agree, the best....I have been known to drive from my house (about 25 miles from EOS) to pick up & take home....my fave the Hawaiian BBQ and DH LOVES the bread pudding !
!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm
We didn't go there for the longest time. Now I have to go there every trip. Delicious!

EOS is really some of the best food to be found at WDW and certainly the best for that price. Grab a few to go to extend that Disney feeling just a bit longer. :thumbsup2

Although not my favorite, the wraps are served cold and might work best for the trip home.

I love the turkey club one (don't remember the exact name). Once you try it you'll put it on your must do list! Yummy!

DH and I stopped at EOS on our way to the airport, last month. We each got an 'All American". It was at least 90 minutes before we had them for lunch and they were still warm. I only ate half of mine then, saving the last for at least 4 or 5 hours. It became my supper as we waited for our flight in LaGuardia. The sandwiches traveled well.

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

We always stop their on our last day. We use all our left of CS credits to get sandwiches for the drive home to NY. We just ask for the mayo, etc on the side and they give us the squeeze packets so we can put it on when we are ready.

LOVE the tuna melt. I agree that it's a great we to extend the Disney day. When we're staying at SSR, we get sandwiches to go and then eat them in the comfort of our "home. :thumbsup2
