Earl of Sandwich at DTD

Thought I would pass this info on: I emailed the EoS corporate office to see if they had any sort of tentative open date for the location at DTD in Anaheim. Her reply was 'We are shooting for a mid-summer opening.' Doesn't sound like it will be ready by the time we visit in June. Oh well, guess I'll have to wait until December to visit the WDW location. Sandwiches are awesome!

Is it going in where the bookstore is now, near ESPN? If so, they are still clearancing out the books and haven't even started remodeling.

Disney is referring to the opening date as "late Summer".

This breaks my heart that the book store is closing. It was easily one of my favorite stores in DTD. The official close date (as of about 2 weeks ago) is March 31st. RIP Compass Bookstore.

Of course it's going to open mid-summer! They want me to miss everything! (May 30-June 6)

I really liked the Compass Bookstore too, but at least they are replacing it with EoS!! I love, love, love their sandwiches!
