Is this what they're called? The plugs you put in your ears when you fly. I just went to shoppers and they had no idea what I was talking about. Has anyone purchased these in Ontario?
Yes, it did say for flying, on the package. It's just a small cardboard backing package, with a round plastic case (approx. 1 1/2" in diameter), containing the ear plugs.
You're supposed to insert them at least 1/2 hr. before takeoff although I just put them in once I'm on the plane. You can hardly notice them, and yes, they've worked very well for me, no more ear pain!
Earplanes are the make/name of the plugs, very different from regular ear plugs. I have found them at Shoppers and Walmart here in MB. They are amazing for people with ear problems or sinus problems. They are kept with the regular ear plugs, are only good for 1 round trip and are around 7.99 and worth every penny in my DD's opinion.
Caa does carry them I think they were around $14.00-if you go to shoppers ask the pharmacist-they didn't have any on the shelf and he ordered them for us (4 sets)-they were in within 2 days $7.99. The carry their brand and also the Earplanes brand for the same price usually in the same aisle with noseplugs, earplugs and gravol.
