Ear piercing at WDW?

Is there anywhere a girl can get her ears pierced in WDW? DD2 (12 months) will be getting her first haircut next week in WDW, but I was thinking about getting her ears pierced and wondered if that's something that can be done there too. It would be cool if they neat character shaped studs.

I'm thinking I'd have to do it at the end of the day - wouldn't want it to ruin the day!!!

I have never seen anything at any of the Disney owned places...we were just down there and had our daughters done at a Piercing Pagoda inside one of the outlets. They have them at home here in case of problems and follow up care and the 2 people working there (an older teenager and a young woman) were really nice. No disney starter earrings but they had alot of cute Disney ones you could buy that are 14kt gold

I can't think of any place there either. It was hard to even find the child safe earrings. Just a little tip...they told us when my DD had her ears pierced that there was no pool swimming the first few weeks b/c of infection and didn't reccommend it until the holes had healed at 6wks. Just in case you were planning on swimming. B/c my DD had her ears pierced 4wks before our trip she did fine...we had orders to clean them after she was finished swimming. Another tip...go to a place where they do both ears at the same time! I know of many kids that only got one done b/c they wouldn't do the second one. Have a magical trip!!!

I had my daughter's done at about 7 months. I held her with her head against my chest. They did one ear and then I turned her head to the other side and they did the other. Not even a whimper. She was asleep before we left the Wal-mart parking lot. I left her piercing studs in for the first couple years (I took them out and cleaned them often of course) and kept her ears clean. We never had any problems and she is 11 now.

11? Nice age. But don't be surprised if once she's a teen she wants a tattoo like her mom!!

I had my first DD's ears pierced at age 3 and they wanted to do both at once. My 2nd DD had hers pierced at about 18months and they said no way- dont do them both at once because if one gun went off a second before the other then she might jump and they would be off. I had them done one at a time and we had no problems either. It was definately better at 18mos than 3. The 18 month was just looking annoyed with the lady while my 3 yr old howled!!
