Ealry April Trip - Questions

We are going to DW April 2 - 8 with friends (4 adults/2 kids). Any tips on special tours or activities I can do with my mother before the other family arrives (they arrive the day after us).

Also, we have ADRs for dinner at 7 at the Crystal Palace and would like to see the Spectro (?) parade/show. Does that give us enough time to get
seats?

You should be fine making ADR's now. Just be flexible about times. I was able to call last week and make an ADR at Liberty Tree for a group of 16 without any problems.
