I aked my Dr. to write a letter for the card ( i am in a wheelchair and only able to walk short distance and can't stand to long).
But he doesn't know what to write in the letter?
Does anyone of you know what needs to be in the letter?

Thanks

You need him to write exactly that - that you can't stand or queue for long periods. That should be all you need. If you have a medical condition, get him so state that. You'll get priority for Dreams and the parades too :)

My dr just reprints the same letter every time for me just changing the date. It's says
this lady has a back problems which is aggravated/ made worse by periods of walking or standing for any length of time. That's all .

I tried to get an EAC this weekend and had major problems.

Make sure that your letter also states your problems are permanent. They first refused to give me one because my letter (which was reprinted with the text where I got the card fine with last year) didn't say that.

They were really insisting on that permanent part. My illness was named and explained in the letter and unless some invention is being hidden from the mass market there is no cure for it yet. Still they were going on that the letter didn't say it was permament. When I explained that it was permanent they complained that I had a letter with a current date. Umm... I brought that cause the rule book says the letter can't be older than three months?

Then there was a long ramble about the French Disability card system that I didn't quite get cause the CM who I spoke to kept jumping back into French and was too fast for me to follow. I'm aware that the rules are not the same all over Europe, but I always thought that's what the letters are there for. :confused3

It was a really unpleasant experience overall for me. I will keep my fingers crossed you are more lucky.

surely if you have a visible disability - e.g a wheelchair user, it shouldn't be too difficult to obtain an EAC. Also can't you also use a blue badge?

I will leave my wheelchair at home and take my scootmobile there as that easier to move.
I ask my Dr. to put the all the thing you mentioned in the letter and hope they accept it.

We are getting annuel passes do we need to go to city hall for the EAC or can we do it at the annuel pasport office?
