I have Wii Fit Plus and Fitness Coach. I don't care for Wii Fit Plus as a workout program, but I do use Fitness Coach. I'm thinking about purchasing Sports Active 2. I'd love to hear people's views on workout aspects of this one. Anybody use it? Any good prices for it? Thanks!

I had EA Active, More Active and now Active 2. Active was good, More is better (I lost 15 lbs) and so far I like Active 2 even more. I also had Wii Fit. The Actives have continual workouts. When you sign up for a challenge, the workouts get progressively harder and more intense. There are also 3 levels to choose from. My first workout challenge I chose easy and then redid it on medium.

It also uses the balance board. I bought risers for mine for more of a workout. Active 2 gives you a choice between exercise band and weights. Active 2 you wear 2 monitors, one on your arm, one on your thigh. The previous versions you use the nunchuck and wii remote and "wear" the nunchuck for some activites on your leg.

I like them!!!

I have both as well. I personally found them to be okay for light workout on days when I can't get to swim practice (like tomorrow- snowed in) but as for a regular, hard workout, it's not hard enough.

i wasn't too fond of the active and more active, but i am loving the active 2. i would consider myself to be very fit (regular runner), and i can get a good workout in. i primarily choose cardio workouts, which have a lot of plyometric jumping in them. i think the arm and leg band set up on the active 2 works a lot better than switching the nunchuk from hand to leg on the active and more active.
