EA question

I have a car reserved with National for our Oct. trip. I have a coupon for a two car class upgrade, so I put in compact to get an intermediate. I can't choose EA service online since I'm starting with a compact. Anyone have experience with this? Is there anyway to use the coupon and EA?

A two car upgrade would put you at Standard, one class above intermediate, if I am not mistaken.

I believe you will have to go to the counter with the upgrade coupon? Didn't your reservation show what car you are upgraded to already?

I don't think you can use an upgrade coupon with EA. You have to book intermediate. You can use $ off coupons.

Upgrade coupons need to go to counter, no EA. If you use that coupon in the res system, you will see it indicate counter only.

The above post is correct, any upgrade coupon needs to be presented at the counter. Sorry!

Thanks for the answers, I thought I'd probably have to go to the counter. I have a res. with Alamo also. I plan to keep checking rates and go with the least expensive. We're renting one day on either end of our 11 day vacation.
