ok this may sound stupid but, I don't really want a big car (hard to park), (and don't have to go to counter). But the compact price was as much as the ea full size, so I reserved a full size and hoping for convertible, or camary, vw bug, etc. If none are available would they let me down size to a compact? or smaller car aisle if no small cars are on ea? Thanks MKY:D

Hopefully you can find something smaller when you arrive. They will probably gladly let you take a smaller car. That said, you should be aware of the fact that in Rental Car speak: "Full size" is not at all like new car shopper: "Full size". Rental car Intermediates are pretty much Compacts when you're car shopping. Rental car compacts are like Geo Metros and the like. Your Full size might be Camry size or similar, it won't be a Cadillac or a tank. You can take a look at them when you arrive and pick one you're comfortable with.

:D

pb thanks, I feel better now, I currently drive a grand prix so if its that size it should not be a problem! MKY:rolleyes:

I got a Grand Prix last time on the EA and it was considered full size. I really wouldn't want to drive anything bigger than that either. On my trips before that, I got a Camry & Malibu, both were also considered full size. I also got a Grand Am that was considered intermediate (non-EA reservation).
