If we buy e-tickets for Universal are we able to exchange these at our on-site hotel? Rather than at the kiosk.

Many thanks

Last time we were at the HRH we couldn't do this despite something on our tickets saying we could. They told us we need to do it at the guest services at the parks! :)

We were originally told that we could exchange our vouchers at the Concierge desk, however they weren't able to do it for us either. It actually wasn't a problem to do it at the park - we just caught the boat down to Citywalk on our first evening and did it before Guest Services closed for the day.

Does Guest Services close the same time as the parks?

We had E Tickets last time and it took ages, I mean really ages, to get them exchanged for tickets at the booth...we arrived very early in the morning as well along with all the others that had also arrived early to get into Harry Potter!! I would do as PP said and exchange late in the day just before the parks close!:)

You may not need to - some of them ARE your ticket. You literally print out the ticket, on which is a bar code and scan it as you enter the park. Job done. I've had this, and ones where you enter a reference number at the kiosks. That took all of about 45 seconds at park opening time during spring break? Guess everyone else already had theirs.

The first time we went we used the kiosk to print our tickets, it was super quick & easy. Unfortunately, the next time we went we had to queue at the ticket booths which involved quite a long time queuing & even longer sorting out, don't know what the problem was! Norman (dh) was really annoyed. We had vouchers through Viator, who were very good.

Thanks for replies - I think we will opt for a ticket provider who sends actual tickets. We really want to head straight into IoA the next day with early access and we have had to queue and faff with exchanging tickets before. If there is no proven easy way to do this at RPR we will play it safe.

Great answers and pretty much unanimous so a no brainer on what to do!
