We are flying in October from Louisville. The best flight times/prices we have found are through Expedia or Priceline. How safe is it purchasing through one of these sites. What do they mean by e-tickets? Thanks for your help.

Expedia is good. I have never had a problem booking through them. I do not have any experience with ebay tickets, though. When they say e-tickets, it means electronic tickets. You will not receive a paper ticket so you will want to print out your confirmation and bring it with you to the airport to check in. Hope this helps.

If you buy through Priceline you don't have much flexibility. If it was a choice between the two I would go with Expedia. I haven't had any problems with them.

Expedia was great to deal with. The airline canceled our original flight and put us on a late afternoon flight. I called expedia to get the early morning flight, no problem. They handled everything! I also had to cancel my mom's flight and they assisted me in how to exactly deal with the airline in doing this-for a full refund. VERY helpful!
