I was just wondering if anyone else ever uses fake/funny names when you are asked to give your name to ride on E.T.???

My family and friends always enjoy doing that. Does anyone else do this or is my family just weird? :upsidedow If you do give fake names, what ones have you used before?

We have done the complete Brady Bunch family and the Rugrats. :rotfl2:
Some people in my group tried to pull off being Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs:lmao: I did not participate in that one because I knew ET did not have those names programed and I also knew the CM would laugh at someone saying his/her name is Sneezy, Grumpy, Dopey, etc. Surprisingly, though, he did nothing so I assume this happens often?:rotfl:

Yes we do it all the time. The TM never seems to be surprised.:lmao: There have been threads on here about this and some of the names have been hysterical. We have done Universal characters as well as MIB's doofus and do-right.:thumbsup2

Last year we used Tony and Carmela (sopranos) My husband likes to use Guido???(his names ed but he looks like a Guido:lmao: :lmao: )
we told my niece to use a fake name, her name is meagan she used Michelle... go figure:rotfl: :rotfl:

The ones that appear unphased are the ones that have heard all the different possible joke names. Bubba, Elvis & Spongebob are EXTREMELY common.

The TMs that laugh are new or haven't heard the names 10000 times.

They balked when I tried Osama. We usually do 3 letter names to make the bottleneck move a little quicker. About half the time ET says the name clear enough to understand.

Thats funny!:lmao:

DH and I have talked about giving different names but we never have..

Paris and Nicole is a favorite combination of ours (we are both guys.)

Someone should get a list of the names E.T. can actually say. ;)

He can say some 6000 names. Names that have multiple spellings but sound the same (Kathryn, Catherine, Katherine, Cathryn) all come out the same to ET.

We choose different names each time also. One of our favorites is Lucy and Ethel (when I go with a girlfriend). Or of course Lucy and Ricky when I go w/ my fiance.

My husband always uses "Elliott" - like that's original! It cracks him up, though!

It doesn't matter what name I pick, I *never* hear ET say my name. I'll hear other people's though. :confused3

We did names from the movie Anchorman: the Legend of Ron Burgundy. We did Baxter, Ron, Champ, Bryan, Bent, and Veronica.:lmao:

I used "Mom" in December. Loved it! ET thinks I'm his MOM! We were able to understand all of our names all 3 times we rode.
Katy

Sometimes we hear our names and sometimes we dont. Last time I used Esmeralda and we had front bicycles so it was easily heard and the multiple syllables helped too.

I used my dis name when i went last but was asked if i went by any other name as et couldnt say pixie :confused3 I then had to say well.....Emma I guess, not as funny!:rotfl:
