Do any of you do E-nights with your little ones? My DS is 4 and I was wondering how this would work out. I plan on shopping at DD, then relaxing at the pool and beach, followed by a 7:30 PS at Chef MIckey's, going to the obs. deck for the fireworks, then taking the monorail to MK for E-night. What do you think?

I took my then 7 and 3-1/2 years olds to E-night last October, and it was great. Of course, in off-season, E-night went from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., so it wasn't too late for them. My 7 year old loved Buzz Light Year Space Ranger Spin, and we went on that repeatedly (walking right on) for nearly an hour. As long as the rides that are open for E-night are ones that your DS enjoys (there's a list somewhere) and if he can stay awake, I think it'd work out great!

We'll be there again in a couple weeks but will probably stick E-night as it will be from 10 p.m. - 1 a.m.; my kids are on early schedules and don't sleep late when they've stayed up late, so I'd ultimately pay the price for keeping them up that late. Lots of kids are either already on late schedules or will sleep late if they stay up late though, so it could work for some people.

Have fun!

Last May I took my then 7 and 3 yr old to E-night and it was from 9-12 am. Let me tell you we had a blast!! My kids took a nap in the afternoon and we headed back to the MK for a late night, they are asking already if there's going to be an e-night when we are there this August.

You don't mention how old or tall your little one is. If they are 40 inches, I think E ticket night is a great thing. They will be able to ride most of the rides that are open. If they are under 40 inches they will be limited to Buzz Lightyear, Haunted Mansion, Country Bear Jamboree, Astro Orbiters (anything else I'm forgetting?) Seeing as those rides are all spread out, you'll be hoofing it from one end of the park to the other (btw, you can't cut through Fantasyland) to ride them.

When my dd was 40 inches and my ds was not, my dh took dd to E ticket night, and ds stayed and did something special with me in the resort. Now that everyone is 40 inches we can all go and ride everything except Alien Encounter (no big loss there!)

The last E-ticket night I went to I saw a couple with two small children (one just about 1 yr old)....poor tired little things were forced to be up till 1 am while their parents took turns riding the rides. I'm SURE they'd have been much more comfortable in their beds.

Just my $.02

ohiominnie :p

although I can say that I took a 3yo to an E-night and he had a great time. Worth it for the 27 consecutive rides on Buzz!

I'm not sure what time the MK closes on the day you're planning this, but you need to be inside the MK at closing time to do e-night; they will not let you in after it starts. Getting in just before closing could be hell if there is a parade. The night we did it, MK closed at 7, they started giving out wristbands in front of City Hall at 4 pm. ( Also, just to be sure it's clear; you must use an admission day that day; you can't just pay for the e-night and save the admission day.) We did AK that day, took a break, then returned to MK about 5:00. We got our wristbands, then went to our 5:45 PS at a restaurant inside MK. We finished eating before closing, and had time for 2 rides on Pirates before it closed.

Where do you line up in front of city hall to buy the arm bands? Is it at an obvious spot? Do they normally start selling them about 3 hours before closing?

By the way, don't forget about your difference in time when you're in Florida. Our hour time difference always helped us stay up later. :)
