E-mails confirming waitlist matches?

Is it true that we now get e-mails if a waitlist was matched? There are some posts that seem to indicate this is the case.

You can receive a email when a reservation is booked. Since filling a wait list creates a reservation, you should receive a email if the CM clicks on the button to send the email, it isn't automatic.

Oh, thanks. I haven't made any new reservations since this seems to have gone in effect. Do they not mail the reservations any more?

I got an email last week when my waitlist matched. I wasn't expecting it--have not gotten a snail mail confirmation yet.
