For those of you who did not get this from savedisney.com, follow this link to send Michael Eisner an e-mail telling him to step down.

The letter has already been filled out or you can make your own statement if you wish.

They will probably be intercepted before he gets them and deleted.

But hopefully, not!:

I guess we've already overloaded his mailbox. Either that or he was fired this morning!
:hyper: :rotfl:

If you think Eisner will read these, I have some oceanfront property in Kansas I'd like to sell you.

Ditto that, and if he did read them, do you think he would up and quit because a bunch of DISers sent him an e-mail. Let's get a little real here.

Well, we know for sure that he's not going to up and quit if a bunch of Dis'ers DON'T email him...

Every action can help.

Nice to see that everyone is in such a happy mood on a Friday  That's what I get for sharing, I guess.:(

I just find it hilarious that people think Ei$ner is going to take the time to read emails from complete strangers, much less take career advice from them. There's just not enough magic and pixie dust in all of Disney to make this happen.

I didn't email him but perhaps the idea behind it all is not what's in the email (as I doubt he would take the time to read them) but perhaps it's just to show him how many people oppose him. It's just showing a united front is all.
I don't understand why people need to get their undies in a bunch over this. if you don't agree...why even post. The people that did email him aren't doing anything to harm you are they?

As though anyone would waste the time to even tally these ... if they even got through.

Oh and thanks for the underwear check, but mine are just fine, thank you. I didn't realize that disagreements were taboo on the CB. Thanks for the enlightening post, phorsenuf. And congrats on your promotion to moderator!

He already knows how many people want him gone, I personally don't think he cares. Its not about Disney anymore, it has become personal to him. I think he will have to be forced out and I don't think its going to be easy.

Well considering alot of times boycotts, petitions and letter writing campaigns do work in some situations what makes this any different?
I never said either that disagrements were taboo. You don't agree with the campaign and I do. What I don't understand is why you needed to add your comment about oceanfront property. I personally found it uncalled for and rude. If people want to email Eisner that's their choice and if they want to share something about it then fine....who are you to belittle that?

In most cases, the boycotts are aimed toward people who can actually do something about the situation.

Eisner himself IS the situation in this case -- so e-mailing him isn't going to have any effect. Even if he was to receive and read the e-mails, he's not going to step down simply because people have asked him to (unless those people are the board of directors -- and they wouldn't be asking, they'd be telling).

If you don't like something someone writes, you have the Ignore function. Please feel free to use it. Too bad you can't deal with disagreement and humor.
