E-mail Confirmation on Phone Reservation?

Hi- I am very excited because I made a phone reservation earlier today to stay at the Yacht Club in May. The rep told me I'd be getting an e-mail confirmation of my reservation. (Disney has my correct e-mail). That was about 12 hours ago, and I haven't gotten one. Of course I do have a confirmation number, but I always feel better when I get something in writing. With other hotels (not Disney), the confirmation come almost immediately. Should I expect one for this Yacht Club reservation, or was the rep misinformed?

Thanks for any info you could provide. If it takes a few days for the e-mail confirmation to appear, I'll wait to call...

Don't worry you will get the confirmation. For my familes most recent stays at WDW and for our next two, we always got the confirmations e-mailed when making the reservation over the phone. Most of them took a few hours to arrive and for our most recent stay last December at the Polynesian, that one took 24 hours to arrive.

Our E-Mail conformation came within minutes of hanging up, sometimes you can request E-Mail notification, but it ends coming in the snail mail (6-8 days) anyway.

I started getting concerned also when I made my ressies
2 weeks ago.But I got them about 24 hours later so Im sure yours will come soon too!

I've made/changed ressies 4 times and every email was a bit different. Most took 24 hours, and one was within a few hours. Don't worry.

I too made a ressie Saturday morning and still nothing, I even called back and requested an e-mail confirmation and still nothing. Everything disney seems to be fairly random, I have called to update my phone number atleast 7 times over the last year and it still hasn't been done, UGH!! Everytime I call to add something or request info they still have the wrong phone number. I had a room only ressie prior to booking the package that I booked Saturday and I had a confirmation within minutes.

When I made my initial ressie my e-mail was here by the time I got home from getting my kids which is when I made the ressie while waiting. Then when I paid my deposit I got one but then I never got one for it being paid off.
