Hi

have just received a e-kall phone card in the tickets from Virgin

anyone used them? are they any good

they are advertsing 49c a min and a 25c connection charge, is this reasonable?

or would I be better off buying a pre-paid one from a machine when I get there

so many questions, so little time ..... LOL

I know nothing about phone cards - but 40c per minute sounds like a lot - our $10 phone card lasted for a lot longer tha 20 minutes,

I don't know ANYTHING about this company - I just did a very quick search on google and it came up

http://www.callingcards.com/ccads/

but they are quoting 0.04 cents per minute from USA to UK. - Like I said, I haven't used them, so I can't endorse them, but I will probably try them next time.

for calling to the USA I use an 0845 number that I found on the internet and I haven't had anyproblems with that - http://www.telediscount.co.uk/

I used the e-kall card for my revent trip. I think it does probably work out dearer than calling cards you can purchase over there but I had no problems with it. I used it because DW was at home and there was a voicemail facility in case she needed to get in touch with us - which fortunately she didn't.
