E-bay I was burnt (LONG)

So I'm looking for this camera and going through all the KITS (I bought my Cam Cord this way no problem).I come across 1 thats a little cheaper not much .

The auction says it's for Charity .I go through Feedback and looks very good they are mostly buyers but sell on occasion 1 neg out of several hundred for not clearing customs.Also very active account with 1 simular well exact but different camera.No changes (wording, paypal,shipping cost nothing different).

So I ask them some questions after auction ends and get imededite response(as well as answer to another question) .

Then get paypal shipping track and it doesn't change after a couple days so I ask again about that same thing answer right away Son shipped on such and such So Ok holidays and all no problem .

Then it hits Neg from another E-bayer same listing different Camera So I again contact them (through Listing ask seller as before) and now they are saying they are cristian people and someone has done this to them.

However they are still using account even sold stuff with positive feedback recieved.

So now I have to wait (went right to paypal for resolution) and tell DW shes not getting her camera now.

Should I try to persue this futher getting authorities involve due to the charity thing or just get my money back and let it go.

I also left Neg feedback(1st time had to do that) and I guess I will get it in return .Sorry so long let me find DW Thanks for listening

Having been the victim of a stolen account myself, I would say let PayPal run it's course and get your $$ back. If you want to, wait a little longer and see what ebay does with this seller. If it seems as if they purposely try to swindle you, I might consider charges. But in the cyber world, you're probably just going to be spinning your wheels.

i guess i don't understand what you are saying is the problem. How long has it been since you won the auction? I am not understanding your post, someone stole their account or someone else won same item and left negative? Could you please explain a little further. Are you sure you've given them enough time to receive item, before leaving neg?

Yes I'm sure I did everything possible

They finally left me an E-mail stating their account (both e-bay &paypal ) were compramised by the same person.

However they were still activey using both accounts during this entire period and are still useing it.And are now just saying to bad contact Paypal .I just thought if someone takes over your account you would see this if you are still using them but I guess the 4 or now 5 multi-hundred dollar listings and payment just went unnoticed.

This is why I'm peeved a little it looks like they did 1 with no problem buyer left Pos feedback thenthey just thought that was easy and did 4 more that didn't excised ( I been contacted due to my Neg and the 1 before me from the others that are in the same boat as me).
