Hi,

Well, it seems I did something naughty, please don't flame me, we were just desperate for money. I listed our southwest travel vouchers but did it like all the other ones where you list the drink tickets for sale and a "Free" travel voucher. It was listed and then withdrawn by e-bay the next day. I am fine with not selling them if it is not allowed. (Might just have to squeeze in another WDW trip so that they don't expire :) I am just confused though becuase if I go to E-Bay there are TONS of other listings just like mine that are not getting withdrawn. I did list this directly on E-Bay. Maybe they did theirs trough turbo lister or another program? I just think the rules should be the same for everyone.

Really don't know why yours got pulled and others did not. I have seen it happen with Weight Watchers materials too. Some people's get pulled and others don't.

maybe someone else can tell you more.

I *think* the way they get pulled is that someone reports them. I had something similar happen to me a while back - I didn't know I was doing something wrong and the auctions got pulled, but I see auctions very similar that should be pulled for the same reasons.... Sorry it's happened to you, but hopefully you can relist them, if you still want to sell them.

I agree with cuterIt. I think someone reported your auction & it was pulled. I've had an auction pulled - same situation where tons of others were listing the same thing. :confused3

Ahhhh, the morality police got ya. I think some people just go around on ebay to make sure all the rules are followed being as they are so perfect.

We did have auctions pulled once due to using a stock photo (guess it was copyrighted) and another time because my husband sold a vintage playboy in the general listings when it is supposed to go in the adult area (didn't even know there was one). Yes there were other auctions that never got pulled doing the same thing. I think there are just so many auctions that ebay cannot just catch all of them. If you try again though and they find you again you do risk being suspended.

Better luck next time! Maybe there is some other forum out there where you can offer these items for sale.

I hate to say this, but you may have gotten reported by the competition, also, especially if they know their way around ebay and your listing has lower shipping or a lower price. I had this happen once, I listed WDW tickets and someone emailed me and said "I was watching your auction and saw it got cancelled, will you sell me these?" ,but my auction hadn't been cancelled and I checked their auctions and they had about 15 auctions up for the exact same thing so I figured out they reported mine. (I honestly didn't know until this happened that I was breaking any rules, either). My auction was cancelled the next day.

I had an auction canceled before for using a photo from the internet...it wasn't my own photo. I relisted the item with a photo I took and ebay left the auction alone. Did you use a photo that wasn't yours? :confused3

In my experience (been doing ebay for over 6 years). Someone had to report you. Either the competition, or someone that is mad at you for a previous transaction, and is watching your auctions.
