Well I too found this site when looking for the Dyson deal but I am happy to be with this site.My daughter who is 8 and my son who is 5 are ready for the Disney trip and I was clueless abt what to do.Now with this community I am looking into the plannings and hopefully can make the trip soon.Thanks for all the helpful members.

I faxed my order friday March 14th. I got confirmation from the OP through email that day. The charge showed up on March 18th and I received a notice from UPS on my door they tried to deliver it March 21st. I got it last night!

My order was faxed on 3/19, and my credit card charged the very same day. I am hoping fro delivery today. A co-worker who also sent in her form on 3/19 had a delivery attempt made yesterday.

I emailed mine Monday 3.17, CC got charged 3.18, and delivery came UPS today, 3.25. I love it already!!!!

I was able to get a DC18 for $280 from Kohls.com using a 30% code and Kohl's charge during a sale a few weeks ago.

Thanks OP i just got my dyson today. Did anyone else order any accessories? I ordered the soft dusting brush but it wasn't in the box. Do you think it will be shipped separately?

Just wanted to thank you for posting the information to all of us. I guess we where one of the lucky ones, I just got ours today. I hope Dyson realizes that allot of people were in the same boat as us, always wanted a Dyson but could not justify the cost. Well you made it possible for us and now you have another advocate out there touting your product. I am sure these are still not at Dyson cost and think of the advertising potential you are getting, chalk it up to your marketing budget. We are all people that would have never purchased anyway, so I think you guys owe Heart 8701 a pat on the back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks again to all for such a great product. Council Bluffs Iowa

Mine hasn't arrived yet, but without a receipt, how are we supposed to handle warranty issues? My DC07 broke in a number of areas outside of the warranty period. Two hoses developed tears or holes (one hose carries a $60 replacement cost) and the belt slipped on the beater bar and melted the surrounding plastic (why don't vacuums ever used grooved or teethed belts?). I'm hoping the design of the DC17 will remedy those issues, but still I'd like to know I have warranty recourse if something happens within 5 years.

Mine came with a bar coded warranty card and I would think you can hang on to your CC statement if you want further purchase proof.

I think if you register online they will honor the warranty.. furthermore.. there is some numbers on the UPS label. I would copy them down somewhere...
