dyazide anyone take it?

Dr gave me a script for dyazide b/c I complained the Toprol he had increased to 50 mg was making me gain weight. He lowered that to 25 mg and gave me dyazide. I am a little leary of it but I was just looking for any experiences that others have had and even better if it taken in combination with Toprol for hbp.

I have taken Dyazide for years for water retention and I have never had any problems with. This med works great for me.

Beta blockers (such as Toprol/Lopressor) are very commonly prescribed in conjunction with diuretics (such as the potassium sparing dyazide). They tend to work better together I hope your new drug therapy successfully lowers your BP without any weight gain!
