How does this sound for dining plans. 8 nights so 24 credits. I want to make the best use of my credits and my husband wants the best food (and beer) we can get.

Day 1 Arrival Day- Epcot Evening Lunch Maya Grill (1/24)-- Dinner LeCellier (3/24)
Day 2 MK AM/Hollywood PM- PPO Crystal Palace Breakfast (4/24) -- Dinner Yachtman's (6/24)
Day 3 AK Evening (assuming Rivers of Lights is up and running and night time entertainment is available). No morning Park. Lunch Dining with Animal Specialists (OOP)- Dinner Tiffins River of Lights Package (8/24)
If River of Lights Packages aren't available will swap for another Signature somewhere..
Day 4 Epcot am- PPO Garden Grill Breakfast (9/24)-- Dinner Artist Point or California Grill (11/24) (OPINIONS?)
Day 5 (Christmas Day) afternoon at Hollywood only. Late Breakfast at Cape May Cafe (12/24). Dinner Narcoose's (14/24)
Day 6 PPO Be Our Guest Breakfast (15/24)-- Lunch Plaza or Liberty Tree Tavern (opinions) (16/24)-- Dinner Candlelight Processional Package Teppan Edo (18/24)
Day 7 Hollywood studios Afternoon. MK for Fireworks Lunch at ESPN at Boardwalk (this is son's brithday request) (19/24) and dinner Hoop Dee Doo Revue (21/24)
Day 8 Animal Kingdom Morning evening open- PPO Tusker House Breakfast (22/24)-- Dinner Ohana (23/24)
Day 9 Late Breakfast at Kona Cafe before afternoon flight (24/24)

I am open to suggestions on any that you would change out!! We will use snack credits to fill up the other Breakfast and lunches as needed.

-Day 4 Epcot am- PPO Garden Grill Breakfast (9/24)-- Dinner Artist Point or California Grill (11/24) (OPINIONS?)>>>i'd pick Cali Grill. Good food and great view of the castle! Plus if you keep your receipt you can watch wishes from the balcony after your dinner (thats if you cannot get seated just before wishes start)

-Day 5 (Christmas Day) afternoon at Hollywood only. Late Breakfas
t at Cape May Cafe (12/24). Dinner Narcoose's (14/24) >>Love cap may breakfast!

-Day 6 PPO Be Our Guest Breakfast (15/24)-- Lunch Plaza or Liberty Tree Tavern (opinions) (16/24)-- Dinner Candlelight Processional Package Teppan Edo (18/24) >>>both lunch choices are great! i'd probably go with Liberty Tree though. Keep in mind you can no longer make reservations at The Plaza. So if you want reservations, you'll have no choice but to go with Liberty Tree.

-Day 7 Hollywood studios Afternoon. MK for Fireworks Lunch at ESPN at Boardwalk (this is son's brithday request) (19/24) and dinner Hoop Dee Doo Revue (21/24)

My replies are in red above. Great choices you made! have fun!

FYI i edited my post above, I added in the part about Plaza not taking ADRs anymore.
We do like having reservations. I know some people don't like to be on a schedule all the time but it actually helps me to have a plan and schedule. I even thought about taking the boat over right there to Wilderness Lodge and eatting at Whispering Canyon so we can see Wilderness Lodge decorated for Christmas and that would give me another reason to choose California Grill over Artist Point.

Im with you on that. i'd rather have an ADR than do a walk up to the plaza. walk ups arent so bad I guess. but if your going during a busy time, who knows how long you'll have to wait.

How about instead of liberty tree for lunch, go to whispering canyon....then dinner at Cali Grill. :)

BTW great choices on Crystal Palace & Tusker Breakfasts. They're both my faves (in addition to Cape May).

Day 2 MK AM/Hollywood PM- PPO Crystal Palace Breakfast (4/24) -- Dinner Yachtman's (6/24) I'm hearing terrific things about Flying Fish since it reopened. If that menu appeals to you, I would be tempted to make this switch.

Day 4 Epcot am- PPO Garden Grill Breakfast (9/24)-- Dinner Artist Point or California Grill (11/24) (OPINIONS?) Another vote for Cali Grill. Can't beat that view!
Day 5 (Christmas Day) afternoon at Hollywood only. Late Breakfast at Cape May Cafe (12/24). Dinner Narcoose's (14/24)
Day 6 PPO Be Our Guest Breakfast (15/24)-- Lunch Plaza or Liberty Tree Tavern (opinions) (16/24)-- Dinner Candlelight Processional Package Teppan Edo (18/24) With 3 planned meals on this day, I'd opt for the lighter and quick options at the Plaza. I would be too tempted by LTT's heavier foods (pot roast, crab dip, toffee cake) that would weigh me down. ***Update: another poster made a GREAT point. Perhaps the planned ADR at LTT would be best. On the day after Christmas, everyone and their brother will be at the MK. The wait for a walk-up at The Plaza is going to be nuts. Perhaps a park break on such a busy day would be nice, Whispering Canyon as suggested...or maybe The Wave.

I don't think you'll be that hungry for lunch only a few hours after breakfast at BOG. Or, if you push lunch off to a late time, you won't be hungry for Teppan Edo. I'd either drop lunch and have breakfast and dinner, or drop breakfast and have an early lunch. Between Plaza and LTT, I'd choose LTT for lunch. Make sure you have the ooey gooey toffee cake for dessert!

Your plan looks fantastic! For me, I would switch Kona to Boma for breakfast because well it's my absolute favorite :) . Artist Point is my absolute favorite restaurant on property. Its one of the quieter Signature locations and its absolutely wonderful!
