On deluxe dining plan, Is main + desert ok, or an appetiser and desert skipping main, or any combination? Not worried about "good value" on the credit, just if it's allowed.
If I understand your question correctly... you just want to know when you order a meal, if you HAVE to order all 3 partts or can skip parts? The answer is yes, you can order only what you want to eat. As you mentioned, you lose "value" but it is your package to do with what you want.
Thanks Papamouse1 - that's correct. Just wanting to know if we could skip a part. I don't know that we will, but it's good to know if we want to we can.
On DxDDP, skipping an entitlement (other than Entree ) isn't that big of a deal value-wise. The average "cost" of a credit on Deluxe is roughly $24*, so you can easily make that up in 2 courses (heck, some places you can almost double that just with the Entree itself ). In reality, it doesn't matter if you save $400 on DxDDP or $4 if you enjoy what you get.
*Calculation:
(79 - 6) / 3 -- This uses an average snack cost of $3 and does not take the mug into account.
Thanks everyone. I do like the flexibility of DxDP. And also not having to get items we won't eat! We do have a few character buffets booked, but also some signatures so I think we'll get our money's worth!
