DxDDP and Refillable Mugs

So, here's the scenario....we arrive on June 12 at midnight (turning into the 13th) we check into POP (room only). The next morning (June 13th), I wake up very early, catch a cab to the YC and check in and then go back to POP and swim and have b-fast there while we wait for our YC room to be ready (murphy's law tells me that it will be ready when I check in... )

My question, can I get our refillable mugs at POP even though our MYW package is through YC?

I am not sure how things work with the Deluxe DDP. However I do know both Resort sell the Year of a Million Dreams logo mugs, so if they said it was ok you could purchase the mugs at Pop Century and use them at the Yacht Club.

Well the mugs come with the DxDDP, so we will get 4 of them. now that I think about it, probably no, because they are only for the resort you are staying at, so that would violate the refillable mugs laws.

I'm in a wierd position, because we check into 2 hotels on technically the same day June 13.

Well like I said before since both Resorts are selling the same mugs there would be nothing wrong with getting them at Pop Century and using them at the Yacht Club. So it does not make a difference if you were on the DDP or a room only reservation. If it makes you feel better here are the written rules on the Year of a Million Dream mugs. "Free refills available at our Resort Beverage islands until the end of your stay in which the mug was purchased." In my opinion I believe WDW means that the mugs could be used at any WDW Resort, because if they did not want the guests to do that they would have said the rules on the old Resort logo mugs which said this. "Free refills until the end of your stay. Refills only at location purchased."

You won't be able to get them with the voucher or whatever you get for the DxDDP until you check in for your package, if you get them at Pop you'd have to pay for them.

I think I would swim at the yacht club instead of Pop, but I guess you don't want everyone else to have to get up so early, but still want to use the meal plan for breakfast there?

Why not just grab the mugs at YC right after you check in? Then you can take them back with you.
