DxDDP and Akershus?

I guess I missed this, but I just read that the photo pkg (with Belle) at Akershus breakfast is free. How does this work with the DxDDP? Do you still get the picture pkg for free? or is there a fee if you are on the DDP?

I booked this yesterday, since we added extra days to our trip, figured we'd get in one last Princess encounter!

Anyway, I asked the CM about this when I booked (I'll have the dining plan as well) and was told that it is included, and that you'll get an 8x6 and four 4x6's in a souvenir folder.

Last year when we went it wasn't included, I think it cost around $35, and we received an 8x10 and four 4x6's. The 4x6's were of two different poses. (one the same pose as the 8x10, and one other pose.)

Our family was there last month using the DDP. We received the photo package (w/ Belle) free of charge.

Thanks! That's great! We normally don't even bother to get the picture taken at restaurants that have the photo options.

I wish I could turn the pics down, but I always melt when I see them. DH would never say no, even if I could. Anyway, we are doing this meal twice in Sept, once for bkfast, and once for lunch. Normally, we'd only do it once. If they make it 2 TS credits in 2009, we probably won't go at all next year.

"Free" is probably not the right word, since they increased the price of the meal quite a bit to cover the costs of the photo packages they couldn't sell any other way.

If you're not on DDP, the Norway dinner is $29.99 Adult/$14.99 child, which is quite an increase! For now, it's one TS, but I wouldn't count on that lasting forever.

That said, it's a great character meal, and the photo packages are very nice. Akershus is SO much better than CRT...as is 1900 Park Fare, for that matter.
