When we visited DW in 2000, photos were taken of us automatically while we were at the peak of a ride. As we exited, we had the option of buying the print. I like these, since they are photos that I can't possibly take myself.

1. Does this service still exist? I haven't read any threads about it
2. How much is each print?
3. Do I take the print with me as I exit the attraction, or do I pay, and them pick them up elsewhere?
4. Is there a central place where I can see all the photos and then decide, or do I have to deal with this after each attraction?

Thank you -

I know that your photo is taken on Splash Mountain, Test Track, Dinosaur and Tower of Terror.

There are several different packages that are available.

As far as I know you can only purchase these photos at the ride where the photo is taken.

Add Space Mountain, BTMRR, and RnRcoaster to that list.

Yes you can still buy the picture [or picture package] in the gift shop at the exit from the ride. I beleive that now you have the option of putting the picture on your PhotoPass card and order you picture off the internet when you get home.

has anyone else heard anything about putting ride photos on photopass?????
that would be great, but I haven't seen that anywhere yet...I'm leaving in a week and would like to know....

really not sure about space mountain...and I KNOW BTMRR doesn't take pictures.

TOT also takes a picture.

I just checked out www.disneyphotopass.com and found no mention of ride photos only talks about photos taken by CM's at various palces around the 4 parks.

They were still doing it in December (and you can add Buzz Lightyear to the list). When you leave the ride, you walk through an area full of video monitors showing the photos taken. Each has a code number on it. You are given (if I remember correctly) a pencil and slip of paper to write down your code, and then you order the photo from the CM nearby. Seems like it was around $12 per photo (5X7? 8X10?), but I could be remembering wrong.

No the ride photos are not available using photopass so you need to check them out before you exit the building...now I do know if you don't want to decide that moment you can write down the numbers and come back in the same day to purchase. My daughter did that in April when she was in a hurry to get to a PS.
