DVD Player

Traveling in 2 1/2 weeks and will be bringing our portable DVD player for our nephew (5). Does it need to come out of it's case to go through security? Thanks in advance.

we took our dvd player in August and had no problems leaving it in our carry on bag to put through the scanner

make sure you have headphones for him to use on the plane.
