do the televisions in the rooms have dvd or vcr players
...Maybe. The incabin TV's also do not have video inputs, only an antenna connection.alexandrew said:No they dont....TVs are standard 13" ....You could easily bring your own DVD player if you need to, and just hook it up to the TV.....

Sigh. This is not the answer I was hoping to hear. So no DVD players, no WiFi, and far too few ports of call (Aug Repo).alexandrew said:No they dont....TVs are standard 13"

How about books? Is there at least a reasonable library?

I spend all day and night on the computer at home and will be glad not to be tied to this infernal, yet beloved, little machine for a week!
You answered my question ElenitaB. I hope your treatments go well and you enjoy your cruise.paulgaedke said:. . . why would you spend all this money on a cruise and sit in your room watching dvd's or sitting in front of your laptop? . . .
The reasoning behind the WiFi/laptop is that 15-30 minutes access each day can prevent a whole day of worry. For folks with family stationed in distant areas a quick exchange of daily email seems essential. Similarly, many of us don't go into "complete downtime" just because we are enjoying a change in scenery. We might still want to monitor a few issues related to work, committee activities, investments, or other interests.paulgaedke said:I am not trying to flame anyone but why would you spend all this money on a cruise and sit in your room watching dvd's or sitting in front of your laptop?
