DVD player for the plane???

Some friends just got back from Disney. They claim that a few of the electronic devices they had lost power. Is there related to battery power and flying?

Our dvd player worked fine!

Our DVD player worked well both going and coming home. That's odd!

In all our years and flights with them- we have never had that problem. ODD.

We use out portable DVD player both there and back as well, with no problem.
I do give it to my child (its in a carry pack, so its his carry on) and he's responsible for the dvd's, and charging it during the trip if he uses it.
Last year, he actually watched a DVD while my Dh and I had a drink at POR (they have large comfy chairs and tables and yummy snacks too!) in the outer lounge area.
Boy, I love that DVD player, LOL
