Wow!! The on-line registration worked flawlessly this morning. Only surprise was finding out buses will not run to non-DVC resorts after the event.

The confirmation states:

Transportation: Complimentary transportation is available before, during and after the event between Magic Kingdom® Park and Disney Vacation Club Resorts for Members and their Guests staying at a Disney Vacation Club Resort.

The confirmation, at the bottom, also says it starts at 8 but if we want to get in before 6 we need admission. Which isn't correct. And the email I got modifying the reservation says that modifications are allowed until 10/26/16, and then says the event starts at 8:30.
I'm not sure I'm believing they won't have transport for others, since they will be allowing you to book it if you're not staying.

They may expect guests staying at non-DVC resorts to drive. Parking is complimentary for off site guests arriving after 7:30 PM.

Does anyone else have this issue?
I am on-hold with MS now awaiting an explanation.
The first thing MS told me was that we could get into MK at 7:30, which is still different than what the confirmation says.

UPDATE:
After being put on/off hold more than three time asking me about the details of the e-mail confirmation; MS confirmed that picking up your passes at the resorts is 6:00 PM, entrance for free parking at MK is 7:30 PM, and entrance to the MK is 8:00 PM.
MS stated that they are looking at sending out an updated e-mail confirmation with the correct information.

We have APs and plan to be in MK before 8:00. So, I wonder how we get tickets? I registered this morning too, but didn't think of that.

does this mean that we can stop somewhere at AKL and pick up bands there instead of getting them at the gate at 8pm?

For the MK event earlier this year, you could get the bands at the resorts Concierge's Desk; before going to the park.

Ok, thanks, here's another question. Can we pick up the band at another resort? We are having dinner at Kona, so maybe get the band at the Poly? I don't want to have to go back to BWV just for that.

I don't see why not. Each CM will have a tablet which they use to verify and check you in. They should be linked so that someone can't check-in twice.
