I've been using DMFredrick's DVCManager program for years to manage my points. It is extremely helpful and fun to use.

One question I have is I'm thinking of purchasing 50 points from a friend of mine and he will have DVC put the points in my 2005 BW account.

Since I wont be borrowing or banking from my own account, I was wondering of a way to add the 50 points in the DVCManager BWV program.

If I try to trick the program by borrowing from an earlier year, it knows there's nothing in there and wont carry over the points.

Any one have a suggestion?

I don't use that program...but is it possible to tell it you bought a 50 point add on, then "sell" it after you use the points.

Good question as I was wondering how I could add 8-10 points that I may rent from someone. If all else fails you can always e-mail Dave it is in the "about" screen.

ok I found the program and have entered my info but when I entered my vacations in the middle it never subtracts it from my points. When I entered my borrowed points it did deduct the borrowed points from my total.

Please help!!!!

Make sure you copy your vacation totals from the second screen. That way it will deduct from your total on contract screen. Then select "Add" from step 4. It should deduct now!

I emailed Dave and his working on his update and mentioned he's looking into including the purchasing/selling of points in the update.

As far as fooling the program into a 50 point add on, it works. But when you fool it into thinking you sold the 50 point contract I think you'll be in the negative for points. (Which might work any way. Let's see if any one else has a solution.)
