dvcbyresale.com....anyone bought through them?

Hi,
I am interested in buying through resale & have contacted The Timeshare Store which sponsors this board. They were incredibly nice & I would love to go through them, but unfortunately they don't have what I'm looking for. I've seen links for www.dvcbyresale.com on wdwig. They have exactly the property I want at a gret price. Does anyone have experience with buying through them? I'm rather hesitant about sending money to a company I don't know anything about. Any advice?

I am pretty sure that this is Shontell Crawford's company. Shontell was with the Timeshare Store until she went out on her own. Very good to work with and reputable. I think you would be fine with her.

Shontell Crawford, who used to work at The Timeshare Store, is the broker at www.dvcbyresale.com. When I first started looking for a resale I spoke at length with Shontell and she was very helpful and informative. Unfortunately, every time I found a contract I was interested in, someone had already beat me to it so I ended up buying through Jaki Apetz of www.atimeshare.com. I'm very pleased with the whole transaction process I've had with Jaki, but I've read good things on this board about Shontell so if you see something on her site you should call her about it.

Thank you so much for the info. I know I've seen people refer to Shontell on the boards, but I always thought she was with The Timeshare Store. My boyfriend talked to her this morning & she was very helpful. But helpfulness doesn't always equal reliability, so I'm glad I checked here.
www.atimeshare.com is another one we had looked at. Glad to hear good things about them as well. That really broadens our options.

I have had dealings with Shontell and I have been pleased with her. I don't think you will have a problem! She is very informative (I do believe she also owns DVC), she is honest and straight forward.

I have contract with Shontell right now and she called today and Disney approved my resale. She has been very helpful and keeps you informed when you need to be.

Thanks again for all the responses. We're going to try for BWV, 150 pts, April use year (or was it June?) And we're going with Shontell after all the positive things people had to say on the boards. Would have been just as comfortable using one of the other companies that were discussed, but they didn't have what we needed!
It's going to be weird 23 years old...and owning a time share. By the time 2042 comes along, I guess we'll be ready to retire to FLA anyway!
