hey im going on the western cruise on sept 10th I was wundering if its worth getting travel insurance, im going to atleast get medical insurance,
but is it worth getting insurance, I used my points for the cruise,
i might not even be able to get insurance because its too late because there is formed huricanes, thats the only thing im worried about, but if the ship doesnt leave due to a huricane what happens? refund?
thanks

Hi, I called the insurance company that DVC uses last week, and you can get medical insurance up until the day before you leave but have to be outside of the cancel date to get trip insurance. DVC is from 59 days in to cancel, so you are no longer eligible.

Sorry, I am not sure how Disney would handle a problem with a hurriciane. I tried to do a search and see how they handled it last year, but no one posted about a shorter cruise using points. Disney will sail, it is just a matter of a longer or shorter cruise, and they could sail on a date or time different from the documents, so if you are not able to be there early or late, you could miss a changed sailing date or time.

Hope that helped some!

thanks, im going up 3 days b4, so I will be there on time no problem, i will definitaly get the medical, prob from CAA,
