DVC website acting up . . . Again

I guess I'll have to call. I have tried with email and user name. Even tried resetting my password to see if that would help but no luck. What a pain.
 
Keeps re-directing me as well. I'm going to put off calling though since it's Monday morning. It's always crazy busy now. Irritates me that I HAVE to call. I should be able to fix it all online since it's an online issue.

There are some "security tables" involved that no one but authorized CMs can access. That "table(s)" needs to be updated. If your issue is the same as mine was, you'll HAVE to call to get it fixed. No way around it. If you can, try calling mid afternoon or towards the end of the day. Those times usually have less of a wait.

It's now 2 pm. Phones and website down.

I think it'd be interesting to keep this thread going and see how often there's issues with the website. I fear it's way too often. :surfweb:
 
To add insult to injury the "Would you like to take a survey to evaluate our services" window pops up. Well, hell, yes! You can imagine the scores I gave them :rolleyes1
 
I had the exact same problem. Just got off the phone with MS.

The recent updates are now REQUIRING use of an email address for the user ID. I was using a member name for my user ID (and had been since the beginning of time). CM did a password reset for my account after he checked my account to see if the email adress was there. (It was). I used my same password for the reset, which was successful since it met the password requirements for length and numbers, etc). So now I will need to use my email address for all the Disney accounts.

I tried logging in to MDE to make sure that worked (it was still working even when DVC Member website wasn't). It was fine with the email address login, but it made me verify / update my account info.

I think I am good, now.

Did have to wait a bit to get a CM even though I called during the special website help period of 8 AM - 9 AM Eastern (5/19, 5/20, 5/21) - I think many of us were caught on the wrong side of this change.

Emilaylay93 - looks like you'll have to call, too.

Carol, I'm not sure that's entirely accurate. I've successfully logged in every day, including today twice, with my member name instead of my email address (and my member name and username of my email address are different).

I'm also still successfully logging into the main Disney site with usernames instead of email address. I made a bunch of FPs this morning. Can't make an ADRs as widely reported though.

Can you imagine if the parks/cash side of reservations was down for a whole day?
 
I had to contact them a 3 days ago to get my login resolved. I'm so glad I did, took them 2 days to get it done. And now the phone is down too... What's going on I wonder.
 
I have heard from a few groups that even Magic Bands weren't working and some places were having to take cash on site. Everything has been down so if you managed to get anything you are lucky! I just go my DVC # last night and can't even set up my online account or book our trip! I waited so long and I don't want to wait anymore!
 
I still can't get on. I tried calling today and couldn't wait so I'll have to try again tomorrow. This really is a mess. Hopefully they will get it all cleared up soon.
